STORYBOARD PROJECT:
Project, PRESENTATION DUE May 12 (C) 13 (E): 25% of total English grade
Create your own storyboard, highlighting the major events from The Jungle Book’s first three stories: Mowgli’s Brothers, Kaa’s Hunting, and Tiger! Tiger! (Don’t forget to make your information accurate according to the facts we learned about India and the Rainforest!
Requirements: Storyboard must be on posterboard, powerpoint, or presentation board.
You may draw, paint, cut and paste, take your own film “stills” or any other creative form pre-approved by me.

Specifics: When complete, you should have ONE very creative cover/title picture, FOUR picture events from Mowgli’s infancy, FOUR picture events from age eight, and ELEVEN picture events from age ten.

For Thursday, May 19 (Block C) - Finish reading Her Majesty's Servants and be ready for a homework assignment due Monday.
For Friday, May 20 (Block E) - Finish reading Her Majesty's Servants and turn in your paragraph assignment about theme in this story.
DUE MONDAY BLOCK C - Turn in your sentence using all 9 parts of speech from words in your Schoolhouse Rock lyric packets. Any questions see me BEFORE Monday so you understand the assignment completely.

DUE On or before Wednesday, May 25, you must turn in your "Toomai of the Elephant In-Class worksheet" that discusses Needs and Desires, Conflict, Motifs, Subtest, and Personal Experience. HOWEVER, You are allowed to choose a different story/book about which to answer the questions. Pick your favorite or the most memorable story/book you have ever read and complete this assignment. No late work will be accepted, as you have 11 days to complete the assignment, and the 25th is the final day of the quarter. You will not be graded on incorrect answers, but rather if you understood these parts of a story and how they relate to the specific story you chose. Take the time to answer these questions how you firmly believe they should be answered. Purposely false or careless answers WILL affect your grade.
